Wines from Spain, the official marketing and trade relations arm of the Trade Commission of Spain, had a hard time capturing that in its previous digital presence. An outmoded site that was difficult to update and didn’t play nice with mobile browsers was a heavy drag on an organization that had such rich and vibrant content.
Thousands of retailers, winemakers, wholesalers, and consumers rely on Wines From Spain for important information on the industry. To greet them, we developed a charismatic design that captures the lively essence of the country and its signature product.
Almost every straight line was banished from the site, and we leaned heavily on the use of vibrant photos to tell their story. Splashes of color brighten every page, and subtle patterns evoke Spain’s deep richness.
One of the top priorities for Wines from Spain’s new web presence was that it could grow with the dynamic organization. We transitioned their hard-coded legacy site to a flexible, CMS-driven environment built on industry-leading technologies.
Additionally, we developed custom content templates and tools for news, events, recipes, wine profiles and more that empower the group to take their content marketing efforts to the next level.
With their new website, Wines from Spain is now prepared to continue proudly showing the world its amazing products, history, and culture. The site continues to grow with more content, news, and events and is a valuable resource for the entire wine community.
